Oxtails & Rice? Fried Snapper? Ummmmmm!!
It all Happens at Marks Place...

Marks Place - Where local food stands out...

Mark’s Place is strategically tucked away in the shopping complex located in the Cul-De-Sac area.

The name on the roof is clearly visible from the street while driving by.

A popular spot for grocery shopping and lots of parking, Mark’s place lends itself to the industry as an important part of this destination.

On entering the Restaurant, one immediately notices the sudden transformation from the hectic street mode into a pub like ambiance that is dedicated to making you feel at home.

I took a seat in the far end of the room in order to observe what was going on, ordered a sparkling water and the famous local meal of Ox tails and rice, grabbed my pen and pad and was off writing this pearl for you.

From experience I know that a great percentage of visitors enjoy a good local meal so here’s the deal.

Mark’s good for spare ribs, curry dishes, baked chicken, Ox tails, Snapper, all prepared to perfection just the way my grandma does it. The local patrons just love it here.

It was a wet Sunday after noon and while the restaurant was filled to capacity, the option of take out attracted an ever increasing flow of traffic near the cashier which helped to alleviate the bottle neck.

Through the iron bars that surrounded the terrace, I could see the droplets of rain that pierced to the ground providing a fresh, pungent scent of water and hot asphalt fusing together. That in itself had set the stage for a romantic meal.

As you may have already noticed, I hand pick everything on this site for your convenience and there’s no exception here.

The service is exceptional. What struck me most was the friendly service with extra smiles and patience. You can always tell when a person is just doing a job. Those girls were doing what they loved and it showed on their faces. You can’t fake that. At least It’s very hard to do.

They effortlessly whisked through the isles without spilling a drink nor bouncing on a customer.

This must have taken some practice.

Even the kitchen staff gets involved when the rush warrants.

I giggled to myself as I made light of the hungry patrons gobbling down every finger licking dish presented to them in this exceptional place.

What a great experience. Book mark this one. Hopefully you'll get there soon.

Dont forget to drop us a line or two to let us know how you enjoyed it.
