Grand Case Beach
Simply one of the Best...

Grand Case Beach - Crystal clear water...

Of all the beaches that dot the shorelines of St Maarten/St Martin, this one compels me to visit repetitively for numerous reasons.

Imagine having a vacation in a prime location on an Island where all the local culture stays intact, and with the ability for you to mingle about without having to see any resemblance of back home.

Well This Quaint French place is called Grand Case. It is located on the Northern side of the Island and attracts visitors from the world over. Known for its colloquial restaurants, small local grocery stores, French bakeries, boutiques and art galleries; Grand case claims to be the Gourmet capital of the Caribbean.

Besides these undoubted treasures though, I believe the greatest attraction to this French town is its the combination of all its qualities including its beautiful beach sitting just adjacent on the shore line.

The area offers an all inclusive package of well known 5 star hotels, dining, and shopping all put together in one strategic area.

while taking advantage of the vistas and the outstanding surroundings, one should take the opportunity to discover the lo-los for a scrumptious meal. Like the majority of business in Grand Case, the lo-los are located smack dab between the beach and the main street.

Local Slang...

What in the world are the lo-los you ask? Well this is simply the slang for (Local) . Here you will find every possible local dish. A must see.

While at the beach, besides relaxing on its beautiful white sands, you'll have the opportunity to see the numerous small craft flying right over your head and down onto the runway of the Grand Case airport.

This ancient fishing location also is the window to the beautiful Island of Anguilla and the Popular Creole rock that's known for outstanding snorkeling. Creole rock is a National reserve.

Grand case beach is also home to the much talked about Beach Club and Le Pitit Plage Cove among many other lodgings.

Like many of the beaches on the island the cruise ship visitors show up on ocasions for a pit stop on their round-the-island boat trips. One of the local passtimes is swimming so it is not uncommon to see local kids jumping off the jetties and making merry in the water.

All in all, when you go to this beach there shouold be no worries what so ever for your day out on this French beach.
